America's Test Kitchen is searching for a food-loving visually oriented Test Cook to join our cookbook team. In this role you'll assist with the production of all food needs for all cookbook photography and play a vital role on our larger cookbook team. You should be a team player, detail oriented, precise, a careful planner, and capable of managing multiple projects with firm deadlines across several departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, prepare, and execute the production of recipes for styled food photography, step photography, and video that will be used within the cookbook program.
• Manage organized planning meetings and ingredient ordering/shopping for assigned photo shoots.
• Independently establish daily workflows to ensure successful execution of photography needs.
• Support team recipe development through execution of recipe tests on an as needed basis.
• Attend tastings and regular team planning meetings related to current recipe development on the book team.
• As required, conduct recipe development for assigned projects and appear as on-camera talent for video and social media shoots.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• Competent with both savory and sweet cooking methods.
• Preferred 2-years professional cooking experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
